We Need Sober, Sanitary Shelters Now

This is the sad legacy of 10 years of the leadership of our current State House Majority Leader who I am running against. Democrats in our state with good intentions but a failure to understand human nature have turned our region into a destination for the homeless. They are literally “Detroit’ing” the Seattle area through multiple public policies, and it shows in every community, overpass, onramp and offramp in Western Washington. It’s time for a leadership change. I support mandating sober shelters in all larger jurisdictions. These shelters should have police presence, sanitation and counseling for mental health, drug addiction & job opportunities.
